Pouting because...?

On a message board I rarely participate in because there are MANY many MANY people with whom I strongly disagree with on most topics, and they are brutal about it, a woman posted a pity party thread that her request for prayers for her mother in law were largely ignored, while Marie Osmond received pages and pages. My issue with this:

1. Prayers are wishes, absolutely no tangible purpose.
2. She was upset that people didnt take time out of their lives to post that they were making wishes for her.
3. She seemed to really believe that if more people would have posted (or in her mind cared) it would have made a difference.
4. She is now relying on her *true friends* to wish for her.

Um, okay???

That is so petty, immature, odd and emotionally manipulative. You guys didnt make me feel wanted, so now you feel guilty for it. Boo-frickin-hoo. The fact that ANYONE made wishes for you, much less posted that they would, is better than none. Especially when what you WANT is support, not wishes.

It is just baffling to me that she would even think to post the pity party thread at all...

A little me :)

Working on my ATC's and decided to do a picture for the topic of "Childhood". I have a shit ton of baby pictures so I just grabbed a handful and picked the one I liked the best of those 10 or so. This is someone's birthday, likely mine. All I used was Picasa, so it isn't all fancy, but I really like it :).

Craft Room Chronicles Pt. 1

So I have been slowly working on my craft room, re-arranging it, cleaning and such. So here is where it stands right now. I know it looks empty, but I am putting my sewing stuff into the other bedroom along with some of my other crafting stuff. I haven't decided for sure if this is how I want it to stay, but I figured it would be cool to chronicle the evolution of the space.

My computer area

All my supplies for papercrafting.

The corner that has no purpose yet.

This is how my room looked the last time I took pictures, May of 2009. This was when I shared the room with Ashley still (tenants leaving later) so I was only using about 3/4 of the room.

The view from the door

My sewing area

The wall behind to the side of my desk.

Supplies, looks pretty similar lol.

My very full shelf, I am glad I am starting over in that department.

So that's my room, as it stands. It has changed alot since 2005, and it will change even more I know it.

It has happened again.....

...The boys moved out last night. I thought it was stupid to move your life because someone gets sicker (especially and older person) but I knew that I don't always understand human emotions. So I did my best to keep it to myself. Well as it turns out, it was partially my fault. Well FUCK THAT. I am an awesome sister and I do everything I possibly can (and sometimes even things I can't/shouldn't)  for the people I love. I still blame myself, because that is my nature, but I won't (READ WILL FUCKING NOT) let them make me feel like shit. Not again.

The only thing that really irks me is that they had the audacity to say that we were "trying to hustle" them out of their next rent payment. They left with less than 24 hours notice, and while I exxagerrated the exact nature of the impact of them not paying us, it is still practical sense. But whatever, unlike every other time, we are ok this time. My dad is working and even at only part time he can cover what they would have been paying plus a little which is good. If we were the fucked up people they think we are, we could sue them for a month's rent, but we would NEVER do that, we tried to get only the next payment because when you move out suddenly people still have bills to pay.

We consistently *lose* money by helping people and letting them live here. But of course we are just money hungry and want whatever we can (obviously my threat to take their PS3 was a bit over the top, but I was really mad because my brother, my FUCKING brother, didn't care for a second that he was screwing us, or hurting us, or anything other than his stupid boyfriends' selfish needs).

But that just shows that he really didn't care about being a family, we were just a place to stay till they wanted to stay somewhere else. Just like everyone else. I know I am not letting anyone move in for a very long time. I can't go through this again, not for a while. Plus it is obvious that other that my dad, no one really wants to live with me anyway.

I am still a little mad, but I am not really hurting as much as the last few times. I think I am just numb to it all. Josh is happy, and that is still really important to me. And me and my dad are actually going to spend time together tonight. Plus Jeremy promised we will start doing more things together, and I am going to get out there and try to make friends somewhere. I dont know where, but I am going to try :).

Happy Valentine's Day!

This year we got our tax return the same weekend as Valentine's day, so we have been VERY busy indeed.

On Friday I went and picked up the stuff for V-day and finished those projects. We also went and stocked up at Sam's Club. I went to Ulta and bought a bunch of make-up and Maurice's and got new pants and a cute top to wear. I have never been able to just walk into a store and try on a pair of pants and have them fit perfectly!

On Saturday I got a bunch of stuff for my *lab* and some new soaps. I have almost all the supplies I need to maintain my skin (and relax and have fun too of course!). I am waiting for some stuff to arrive in the mail and I need to pick up a couple things tomorrow, and I am good.

Oh yea, and I got a new tattoo! I am, in general, opposed to getting someone's name tattoo'd on your body, but initials are ok, as long as you want that person apart of your history no matter what happens. Naturally that covers Jeremy, so I got his initial on my right wrist, in a heart (the lines are something I always add when I doodle hearts). It is so cool and it looks like I just drew it with some markers, which fits my style perfectly.

I dyed my hair early on Sunday morning, but it still feels like a Saturday decision. The color is my favorite shade of red, and I got it cut on Valentine's Day, but I don't have a picture of it styled yet.

Sunday was Valentine's Day, and anyone who knows me, knows I love to shop. That is what Jeremy gave me for Valentine's. We first went to Ethel M's and he let me get whatever chocolate I wanted! I love Ethel M's. It reminds me of my childhood and it is by far and away my favorite chocolate in the whole world. Then we went to Wal-Mart to pick up stuff for the house. I love having what we need and being able to make the house look nice.

A couple more highlights from this weekend:

I found this guy at Wal-Mart on Sunday, 11 bucks, which is a HUGE savings off the 40 it is everywhere else.

I got my both of these plus a stack of paper and a roll of glue-dots for 36 dollars, another big win in the savings dept.

We decorated and re-organized the fish tank. Bought 11 new fish and some live plants that will grow in about 3 weeks. You can barely tell, but Minnie is about 5 inches without her fins.

I cleaned my bathroom and am finally using my side of the sink. I have alof of stuff now. The soap you see is CP from the Whole Foods near us.I spent almost 23 dollars on soap! But it was so worth it, almost a lb all together.

I have been cleaning all weekend, and actually this blog was just a break for me. I am going to organize more and I will likely blog about that too ;). Thanks for reading.

Work? yep. I do that now.

So what have I been up to lately you ask? Well I decided to take my opening a business fantasy a little more seriously. I have been working everyday, all day (except the last 2 days) on this project (while helping Joshy with his apps, hanging out with Kacie, farming and working on Jer's V-day gift).

I started a blog for the company, but have not yet posted as I want to have something concrete before posting there, in case something doesnt pan out right away. I have most of my bases covered, with the rest being taken care of when we get our tax refund.

As for personal news: Lily and Sonny are moving to Ca, and they spent the weekend here before leaving. Lily and I watched a movie (Monsters Inc) on Saturday with her *wunkle*.

On Sunday we went to the mall and yaya bought her a Cars stuffie and we had lunch (she had fries and I had Panda). When we got home we baked cookies and watched the SuperBowl. I already miss them, but I know that I will see them both again soon.

Jeremy and I laid tentative plans out for our vacation this year. Not Florida like we previously thought, he wants (and I must admit I want) to go to the Chocolate Festival in San Fransisco, so we are going to go up there and see my family and Alcatraz and then drive down the coast to Disneyland, SeaWorld and Universal Studios. I really hope Steven can get the time off too, because I think it would be the most amazing family vacation ever.

My plans for the rest of tonight include finishing up the work on my bath fizzies and then watching my Monday TV. How I Met Your Mother, Accidentally on Purpose, Big Bang Theory, Chuck and CSI Miami (though the last one I only watch sometimes).

Trying to be productive...

...has only lead to procrastination. What o' what will I blog about today? Nothing major going on in the house, everyone is expecting tax returns in the next week or so, cept Daddy, but that is a whole other story. I know I have most of my money spent, before I even have it, so Jeremy is not giving it to me all at once. I know for sure I am going to get my hair styled and I am going to color it. Either bright red as usual or black because its so long it might be easier to maintain and color that way.

Yep, I am one interesting person. I am almost done with Jeremy's V-Day gift. That is definitely a notch in the belt. I also recieved the pictures for 2 of my WDW 2007 albums, so I am going to start those soon. I am off to waste more time. At least I am getting better about writing more often.
